Fees
You pay only when your tax goes down.
40%
of the first-year tax savings that result from the Board's order
How the fee works
- The free check costs nothing. If an appeal is unlikely to save money, we say so.
- Savings means the reduction in your 2026-27 property tax that results from the Board's order, compared with the tax on the original roll value.
- No reduction in tax, no fee. That includes a lower real market value that does not change your bill.
- County filing fee. Multnomah County charges $30 per account to file. That is separate from our fee.
An example
Suppose a building in compression has its real market value reduced by $500,000 and its 2026-27 tax goes down by $7,000. Our fee is 40% of $7,000, or $2,800. The owner keeps $4,200 of first-year savings. This is an illustration of the math only, not a prediction for any property.
