Cross Financial is a Portland firm founded in 2003 by Jay Torgerson and Mathew Whiteaker, with offices downtown and on the west side. Cross Property Tax Appeals is its property tax appeal practice.
Jay Torgerson, CPA, CVA
Jay is an Oregon native and a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University. He co-founded Cross Financial in 2003, earned a Master of Science in Taxation in 2013, and has been licensed as a CPA in Oregon since 2015. He also holds the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) credential from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. He is Managing Shareholder of Cross Financial.
